IFM offers a complete range of services to implement and upgrade our software products.  This includes: requirements gathering, solution architecture, software installation, configuration and customisation, data integration, project planning and coordination.

Implementations include handover to client’s support personal and application custodians.  This includes training for solution operation and administration, so that you can leverage the full capabilities of your software solution.

User and Administration Training

IFM provides user and administer training for all of the products that we deliver to clients. This includes:

  • Expert advice and instructor-led training tailored to individual client needs. Training sessions can be delivered in-person or over via online video conferencing.
  • Training for operational users (i.e. train-the-trainer product training), application administrator and technical support personnel who manage the application environment.
  • User manuals and administration guides provided by the software manufacturers. IFM also provides tutorials, instructions and best-practice guides for many of the application systems to we implement.

Software System Support

IFM provides maintenance and support services for all of the products and services that we deliver to clients. This includes:

    • Correction of any technical or functional faults that adversely impact the operation of systems.
    • Apply patches or configuration changes to keep the products operating.
    • Identity and address risks to the implemented system that before they actually occur.
    • Provision of expert knowledge and experience for the product supplied by IFM and the best application of those products.
    •  

    IFM also provides services to extend the life and effectiveness of our customer’s systems.  These include:

    • Product Upgrades – installation of a new version or new release of the supported products, related utilities or related IT infrastructure. IFM will advise the Customer of major releases, point releases, and product patches, as they become available.  It is at the Customer discretion to implement any upgrades themselves or request IFM to provide the product upgrade services.
    • Enhancements – change of the supported products, their configuration and/or associated data in order to add, remove or modify the features or functionality. Enhancement will typically be associated with change in business requirements or functional requirements.
    • Product Upgrades – installation of a new version or new release of the supported products, related utilities or related IT infrastructure. IFM will advise the Customer of major releases, point releases, and product patches, as they become available.  It is at the Customer discretion to implement any upgrades themselves or request IFM to provide the product upgrade services.
    • Training – instruction in the operation and/or administration of the supported products. Training services include documentation of the curriculum, guides and instructional materials to be utilised after receiving the training. User Guides and Administration Guides are usually supplied at the time of implementation for any products supplied by IFM.

Hosting services

    • IFM also provides application hosting services, which includes:

      • Secure and managed technical infrastructure required to operate your application software.
      • Operation and maintenance of the application servers, database, server-side, software utilities internal data network and application software on behalf of our clients.

      IFM performs the server management, support and security, which includes:

      • Troubleshooting and resolution of issues affecting the operation of the server and application software;
      • Upgrade, patching and configuration of technical infrastructure and application software;

      IFM endeavour to provide the Application Hosting Services with service available for 99.5% of the Operating Hours agreed with our clients.

Project Management

Each undertaking has its own unique requirements and constraints.  Project requires time for planning and/or meetings to review project progress and adjust deliverables. This is important in meeting expectations.

IFM has developed a project management methodology based on PRINCE2.

IFM will assign a Project Manager, experienced in our project management methodology, to coordinate the services that we will provide to complete the solution implementation.

IFM conduct a workshop with you to refine and agree the scope, business objectives and constraints of your implementation.  The IFM Project Manager will develop a project management plan based on these requirements.

Progress of the project will be measured in terms of completion and acceptance of each deliverable, not simply by completion of the activities.

The IFM Project Manager will also maintains a number of records in a Project Log to ensure that decisions, changes, issues, risks, defects and associated actions are tracked and appropriately addressed.

Archibus Implementation and Support

IFM has been implementing and supporting the suite of Archibus products since 1998.

IFM applies our years of knowledge, methods and productivity tools to install, configure and customise Archibus products for our clients.  This includes training for solution operation and administration, so that you can leverage the full capabilities of your solution.

Once your solution transitions to production operation, IFM continues to provide technical and functional support for all products that we supply.  We respond to support requests via telephone, e-mail or on-site attendance.

IFM has consultants located in most states and all time zones of Australia, as we offer support services to cover our client’s normal business hours.
